Blog Tour: Review of Fallen From Grace by Leigh Songstad

Expensive cars...

Penthouse apartments...

Exclusive clubs and endless money...

By day, Judas Woods practices Law in New York City.

By night, he’s forced to portray a playboy image he despises.

Past resentments his father holds against him have made Judas a prisoner in his own life. Just as he is ready to give up on life, he meets her—Grace Winters. Beautiful, intelligent and way out of his league.

Years have passed since the tragic accident that destroyed her family in just one night, and Grace Winters has finally found her new normal. Congressman Ellis Randall is charming, charismatic, flawless...and he wants to marry her.

Things are perfect.

Almost too perfect…

When Grace meets the enigmatic and troubled local bad boy, Judas Woods, she is swept into a whirlwind affair of passion, desire, and secrets.

What is Congressman Randall hiding?

And can Grace trust the bad boy she is falling hopelessly in love with?

Jamie says...

I just have to say first is the cover is seriously delicious!  This was a 4 star read for me!  I liked the story and the characters and there was some serious steamy scenes.  The only thing I can say is this is a little insta-love which is normally not my kind of romance story but it did veer in different directions so I was able to push that aside and enjoy the ride.  Oh Yes it was a whirlwind and you just have to let your body flow through the waves.

Grace---She is a psychologist who deals with patients everyday that are broke and she has to help them through picking up there pieces of life after they are shattered, she is a woman who has dealt with the loss of her brother to drugs and she is trying to pick up her own pieces because she has to move on with her life, and what better way with a perfect man who is well known for being a senator who is now running for president.  Life is perfect or is it all just a sham?  When she meets with a lawyer named Jack one night who wants to use Grace to help with a case (so she thinks) does her world turn upside down when Jack's son Judas is in the same restaurant and he comes to her table and introduces himself?  Does she start questioning her life with the Senator?  Could she be happy with another man??  She comes to care for Judas but will the obstacles that stand in her way make it hard for her to trust Judas the town playboy?  Could she give up her so called perfect life to be with the bad boy?

Judas--- Well hawt damn, just look at the cover and yes keep your jaw on the floor cause he is totally described in this story as that perfectly delicious!  He has dealt with a tragic past by the way of his mother's death and his father hates him and will do anything to make his life miserable.  First forcing him into law school (which in turn Judas really actually starts to love)  then Jack sets forth a plan to make Judas his so called play boy to get close with the elite girls and get evidence to help his cases, Judas is his spy and Jack wants payback from him for being there when his mother died, he blames Judas for his wife's death and Judas has to pay for that.  Judas knows what he does is wrong but his father is a very powerful man and could ban him from ever working again as a Lawyer and take away all the money, cars, houses.  But will one woman make him think about changing and give up everything just to be free from his father once and for all.  Will his secret life tear them apart and send her back to the so called perfect life she thought she had?

"Then please, tell me how it is.  You know how I feel about you, Grace.  I've made it very, very clear.  And in case you're worried that I'm only interested in a one night stand, I'll clear that up right now too.  I've never felt this way before, and I know I barely know you, but I want to change that.  I'll take as many nights as you'll give me."

"Why?"  Judas stood and it made Grace's heart lurch in her chest.  "This feeling in my chest," he rubbed the area, "hurts.  I can barely breath, Grace.  I don't want to live like this.  Nothing matters without you.  I don't want to live in a world where I can't see you or touch you."

Pick this book up and run with it cause it will make you question things all the way to the end... and it does have some serious sex scenes which of course makes for a great book (hahahahaha)!  But that's not all the makes it great it was well written and great story line and I will definitely look for more books from this author.
