Touched by another is the third book in the touch series. This is Emma and Pete's story. I would give this a solid 4 stars! It was really well written and it can be read as a standalone but I would suggest getting the first 2 books as well because you don't wanna miss Char and Riley's story and Derrick and Chloe's story.
Yes you will get more of the dynamic four that started this series too!
Emma is Riley's sister and she has been through the ringer with her marriage and she has had the devastating loss of her parents. She moves to Boston to get away from it all and promises to put her self first before anyone else. She isn't looking for love because that just ends in disappointment. What she thinks is a friendship she builds with Pete will slowly turn in to more than she asked for and will she be ready?
Emma- After ten years of marriage, I can't believe things are happening the way they are between us. When we said our vows all those years ago, I imagined it would be forever. I never thought I'd be in the situation I am right now.

I don't know what it is about this girl, but damn it I want to find out.

I want to know more about her.
Times like this really put things into perspective for a person. Emma means the world to me and in a short time she has shown me what it means to truly love another person.

There really is so much we need to talk about and I don’t want to push her into anything too soon. The last thing I want to do is hurt her or scare her because I’m moving too fast.
It drives me crazy how much I care about her. I watch as she talks with everyone. Her smile and those eyes can light up a room, at least for me they can. She’s such a caring person; always putting the needs of others before her own. I know one of the things she wanted to accomplish with her move to Boston was to start putting herself first more often. It’s hard for her; it’s not in her nature to push others away. It’s one of her qualities that makes me love her so much. No matter what she needs or what I want to do for her, she always makes a point to make sure I have what I need first.
She’s something so special to me now that I don’t know what I would do if I lost her.
