Melia, who's dealing with the loss of her mother, has offered to surrogate Ryan and Ellis' (Dirty's) baby for them. Ryan and Melia's mom had become close in book one, Her Ride, during chemo treatments. While wanting to do something for the two people who had helped her and taken care of her after losing her mom she offered the surrogacy.

Patrick aka Wrench runs the Tormented Souls Motorcycle Club and his Ryan's brother. He had to take over her guardianship at 19, watch her join the marines, and battle cancer. It's because of her he trying to make the club more legit actual real businesses. He's a controlling alpha male and let's the whole world know it.

With a few complications with the pregnancy Melia has to go on bed rest and at Ellis and Ryan's urging she moves into the MC so she can be taken care of, moving her into Wrench's world. While not expecting to instantly meet and want this pregnant stranger Wrench does what he does best. He goes all caveman and acts like an ass, all the while, Melia's trying her best not to act like she wants him, too.

The Tormented Souls have been having some minor trouble with a rival MC and doesn't think to add his protection to Melia and the babies. Someone other than Patrick has been watching her, too, and knows she's important to him. Will he figure out how much he cares before it's too late or will Melia be caught in an MC battle unknowingly? Can he offer her protection and save her and the babies?
